How this is calculated

Based on Cornell Hospitality Research (Anderson, 2012): each 1-point gain in a 100-point online reputation score is associated with up to a 0.89% ADR increase and a 1.42% RevPAR increase. We apply your chosen per-point figures to your ADR, occupancy, and room count. Every number traces to an input you control.

These are ceiling figures from the research, stated as up to, not a guarantee. The per-point coefficients are editable so you can model a conservative case.

FAQs

It estimates how much raising your hotel's online reputation score could be worth in ADR, RevPAR, and annual revenue, using your own property numbers.
The default per-point impact figures come from Cornell Hospitality Research (Anderson, 2012, The Impact of Social Media on Lodging Performance), which found that each 1-point gain in a hotel 100-point reputation index is associated with up to a 0.89% ADR increase and a 1.42% RevPAR increase.
It is a 0-100 online reputation index, such as the ReviewPro Global Review Index, that combines your guest review scores across sites into one number. If you track a 5-star average, multiply it by 20 for a rough 0-100 equivalent.
No. The research figures are stated as ceilings (up to), and every output depends on the assumptions you set. Use it to frame the opportunity, not to promise an outcome.
Your reputation-point gain times the RevPAR-per-point figure gives a RevPAR uplift percentage. We apply that to your current RevPAR (ADR times occupancy) across your rooms for a full year.
